Radius Residential Care owns 22 aged care facilities across New Zealand and wanted to raise the standards of the food they provided to their residents whilst still abiding by nutritional standards. They wanted a menu that offered delicious food that was considered healthy but hearty and flavoursome. With this in mind, Unilever Food Solutions Chef Phil Neverman “wanted to provide the residents with nutritious yet delicious menus” and assisted in analysing and developing 57 recipes for their Summer Menu. These recipes are innovative yet balanced and easy to make with the use of Knorr, Continental, Hellmann’s & Carte d’Or products.
The Winter Menu has been approved by a dietician and residents are giving rave reviews. Once bland, flavourless residential care meals are now substituted with delicious, quality food. In fact, the project has been so successful that Unilever Food Solutions and Radius Residential Care are now working together to develop their Winter Menu for 2011!
