Preparation

1. Place the lamb shanks and onions in a roasting tray, add the oil and season with KNORR Aromat.
2. Preheat an oven (180 °C) and roast the shanks and onions for ½ hour so are crispy and golden brown.
3. In a separate baking tray roast the tomatoes baby carrots and baby brussels with a drizzle of oil for ½ hour or untill cooked, remove and keep warm.
4. Add the water and red wine to the shanks, cover and cook for a further 2 hours at (140 °C). Remove from the oven.
5. Place the KNORR Rich Brown Gravy into a small bowl and add some water to create a“slurry”, stir this into the cooked shanks to thicken and add flavour.
6. Bring the 1600mL water to the boil, remove from the heat and whisk in the KNORR Superior Mash Potato untill mixed in well, add the cream and butter and mix well.
7. Serve the mash with cooked lamb shanks and roasted vegetables.
