Preparation

1. Clean and portion the beef fillet, season with the KNORR Aromat and smother with the oil, cook on a pre-heated char grill untill the desired liking is reached, remove, keep hot and allow to rest.
2. Peel and thinly slice the potato and grate the garlic, layer the potato and garlic into a large baking dish pouring cream in between each layer, continue the layers untill the tray is ¾ full season with salt and pepper, bake in a preheated oven (170°C) untill cooked and golden brown on top, remove from the oven and place another tray on top with a weight to compress the cooked potato, once cooled, cut out rounds with a round cutter, to reheat place back in the oven.
3. Dice the bacon and lightly fry in a preheated pot untill brown, add the green peppercorns, water and KNORR Demi Glace, continue stirring untill thickens, add 100mls cream and simmer for 5 minutes, remove from heat and keep hot.
4. To serve, place the heated potato on a plate and add the steak on top, pour over the bacon and peppercorn sauce.
