Steak Diane is a popular pub classic your residents may have fond memories of. In this recipe, we turn it into a pie that is better suited to residents' palates and ease of eating, without missing out on that great steak sauce.

Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Steak Filling

    • Heat oil in a large pan and cook beef mince until sealed.
    • Mix KNORR Rich Brown Gravy with water, then add to the pan.
    • Cook for 5 minutes. Then add KNORR Italiana Pronto Napoli Sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brandy and cream.
    • Cook for another 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool the filling slightly.
  3. Pie

    • Divide the filling between 10 pie dishes. Cover each dish with a puff pastry sheet and trim around the edges.
    • Brush the surface with an egg wash. Bake in a combi oven at 180°C until the top is puffed and golden. Serve.
