KNORR Roux granules can be used to make a classic white sauce base or as a thickener for soups and sauces.

As a Roux base for sauces: Whisk 100 g of KNORR Roux granules into 1 L of hot or boiling liquid (milk, stock etc). Bring to the boil and simmer for 1 minute, whisking continuously. As a Roux base for soups: Whisk 75 g of KNORR Roux granules into 1 L of hot or boiling liquid (milk, stock etc). Bring to the boil and simmer for 1 minute, whisking continuously. As a Thickener/Finisher: Add desired amount of granules directly into boiling liquid, simmer for 1 minute, stirring until thick. Add more granules if a thicker consistency is required.
Makes 60 L.
Store in a cool dry place. Replace lid tightly. Contents may settle in transit.
