Area Sales Manager & State Chef
I’ve always been interested in food, so I trained as a chef straight out of high school in the beautiful southern highlands. I have been in the food industry for over 10 years, and during this time I’ve worked in both Front of House and Back of House in a variety of restaurants ranging from Modern Australian to authentic Italian. My most recent venture into hospitality was with Adriano Zumbo, the renowned pâtissier and chef.
I loved working as a chef in commercial kitchens but was looking for a new chapter in my work life. I decided to get into business development in the food service industry, so I could continue to be a part of an industry I loved, in a fresh and different way. My passion for food and the knowledge I’ve learnt in my hospitality career led me to Unilever Food Solutions, where I have the chance to engage and support chefs across many different parts of the industry. It’s a fun challenge and each day is unique.
In my spare time I love cooking and spending time with my friends, family and my dog Leia. I’m also a West Coast Eagles tragic. If they’re playing, chances are I’m glued to the screen!
