Ingredients per serve



  • 250g Beef steak schnitzels 10.0 x
  • Corn flour 200.0 g
  • Eggs 3.0 x
  • Polenta 800.0 g

Sweet Potato, Cheese Poutine

  • Sweet Potato 1.0 kg
  • Cream 500.0 ml
  • Tasty cheese, grated 100.0 g

Pepper Gravy

We call this the poutine dream... Just make sure you use a tender cut of beef. Your diners' jaw muscles will thank you!



  1. Schnitzel

    • Prepare the beef steak with a meat mallet.
    • Crumb the steak with the corn flour, eggs and then polenta.
    • Fry until cooked through and golden. Drain.
  2. Sweet Potato, Cheese Poutine

    • Peel, dice and roast the sweet potatoes until golden.
    • Combine the cream and cheese together and heat gently until cheese is melted and combined.
  3. Pepper Gravy

    • Combine the black pepper, white pepper and cayenne pepper with the water.
    • Add the KNORR Jus and KNORR Gluten Free Rich Brown Gravy and whisk until boiling.
  4. To Serve

    • Serve the schnitzel with the sweet potato, cheese poutine and gravy and garnish with sliced green onion.
