Traditionally, bola-bola are lightly seasoned, savoury meatballs in a Filipino style that are fried, stewed or used in soups. Here, we’ve added a southeast Asian curry twist for a bold and aromatic crossover.

Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Pork Balls

    • In a large bowl, combine pork, onion, carrot, garlic, panko crumbs, lime leaves, eggs, KNORR Thai Red Curry Paste, salt and pepper. Mix well.
    • Roll into balls of heaped tablespoon portions. Place balls onto a large tray lined with baking paper.
    • Shallow fry the balls in batches and drain on wire rack.
  3. To Serve

    • Serve bola-bola pork balls with KNORR Thai Sweet Chilli Jam and KNORR Malaysian Satay Sauce
