A sashimi-like sliced raw fish, tiradito exists thanks to Japanese immigrants in Peru with the fusion of Japanese precision and bold Peruvian flavours making it one of the Nikkei cuisine’s most iconic dishes. Here, we create our version of tiradito, an elegant dish that fits with the lighter eating choices being made by today’s diners.

Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Base

    • Combine the HELLMANN’S Real Mayonnaise, KNORR Thai Lime Powder, yuzu and coriander.
  3. Chilli Oil

    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the KNORR Thai Sweet Chilli Jam and oil.
  4. Assemble the Salad

    • Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the base of serving dish. 
    • Arrange the capsicum, avocado, micro leaves and cucumber on the top.
    • Arrange the salmon over the top of the salad and sprinkle with caviar.
    • Drizzle chilli oil over the salad.
    Pro tip: cure the fish in a little of the liquid, if desired.
