  • Beef chuck, minced 1.5 kg
  • Sliced cheddar cheese 10 x


  • Portobello mushrooms 1 kg
  • Olive oil 60 ml
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Truffle Mayonnaise


  • Streaky bacon 400 g

To Serve

  • Brioche buns, sliced in half 10 x
  • Cos lettuce 50 g
  • Beer battered chips
  1. Burger

    • Season mince well and form into 10 patties using a mould.
    • Grill burger until medium rare, placing cheese on top to melt for final minute.
  2. Mushrooms

    • Roast mushrooms in oven with oil, salt and pepper for 20 minutes.
  3. Truffle Mayonnaise

    • Combine HELLMANN'S Aioli and truffle oil together in a bowl.
  4. Bacon

    • Cook until crispy.
  5. To Serve

    • Grill the buns; place cos lettuce on top of bottom bun, then beef patty with cheese, bacon, roast mushroom and truffle mayonnaise, and bun. Serve with beer battered chips.
  6. Chef's Tip

    The truffle flavour works well on burgers due to high fat and full flavor.

    • Use a good quality cut like chuck for your mince with a good amount of fat for a full flavoured, tender patty.
